Representatives of the local commissions, inspectors from the Children's Police Service and heads of the Public Support Centers gathered on June 28, 2018 in Pamporovo at the VI National Scientific and Practical Conference "Children's Justice and Children's Rights". The Forum, organized by the municipality of Asenovgrad and partners, gathered over 80 specialists from all over the country working with children. The reason for the discussion was the child justice draft legislation, put on the table for discussion for several months and which was presented by the former Deputy Minister of Justice, Verginia Micheva. "Program for the Development of the Judicial System" Association received a special invitation to present good international practices in the diversion of children from criminal proceedings and the use of methods alternatives to punishment. Mrs. Velislava Delcheva - President of the Association - presented the activities and results of the AWAY project, co-financed by the REC Program of the European Union. In the focus of the presentation were the participation and the stories of the members of the Child Advisory Council, working for more than a year in Rousse.

Special attention was given to presenting the comparative report "Children in conflict with the law. Review of the deviation in juvenile justice systems in Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary and Romania”. In addition to the general conclusions and recommendations made in the report, Ms. Delcheva presented each country with selected good examples.
